Good Stuff!

Natural Smatural...

A lot of people think that natural products mean they are going to be outrageously expensive, hard to find, and not as good. Not true! I wouldn’t want to pay double and use a lame product either! These products ARE natural. They contain tons of organic ingredients and are 100% vegan, and free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and gross chemicals like DEA. When you look at our ingredients list, you will notice long-winded chemicals have been replaced with yummy, good ingredients. We have sought out “green” plastics that have no Bisphenol A and some of the other chemicals known to grow extra arms and stuff (kidding!). All of our bottles can and need to be recycled at your local recycling place. The paper we use is printed on 100% recycled paper with soy ink and we certainly don’t use those annoying white popcorn things that fill up boxes. Instead, we use annoying white things made of corn that actually biodegrade. Plastic is a no-no and so is just being lame about not reusing stuff.

In our personal lives, we say yes to triple-paned energy conserving windows and doors, tote Gelson’s bags to the market and never plastic OR paper, drive a cool hybrid, and biodegradable products are the name of our game! "Green" cleaning products fill our cleaning supplies and we banish paper towels, water bottles, and leaving lights on. We also secretly pray that one day, “green” won’t just be a trendy thing that celebs and Ed Begley Junior do, but a way of life. April 20th will change from “Earth Day” to some other fabulous day! It's not hard to go Green. Even a little goes a long way.

Because we care about children, the Earth and it's creatures, a % of all sales will go directly to organizations that make the world better for these causes.

More Good Stuff, Press and Such...

In October of 2008, Harley James Cosmetics signed their commitment against animal cruelty and testing and was thereby verified with PETA as a "Cruelty Free" company. Yay!

In November of 2008, Harley James Cosmetics signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics agreement cementing their promise to use safe products throughout the line. Double YAY!
